That's being really picky though as most people will have a larger shovel for diff tasks. I’ve broken a wooden shovel and bent a similar design that was a bit flimsy. I’m a middle aged over weight woman and I can go out and dig with this in my heavy clay without undue difficulty. We'll see how long this one lasts, but now I know to be careful when lifting and dividing.

The grip works well, and perfect design for shoveling aswell as using it as a spade. It seems sturdy enough but hope it don't bend the size can be perfect if not tall and the design of it is how all Spade's should be designed for it's a fun and useful product and haven't noticed any problems yet but can scratch and could bend This is perfect for digging in that ground.

Definitely recommend Digs out turf and sod with ease. It’s great. It's light weight enough to carry it all day with one arm behind you or over your shoulder.

Overall very well designed, but fairly flimsy hollow-core fiberglass shaft. It does do a better job of breaking up clumps once the dirt is softened than standard forks. Broke after 2 weeks, but they did send me a replacement without questions when I contacted them. The photo is my size 8 boot next to the giant blackberry roots I dug up

😅 Been using it for a DIY project and so far very impressed. Spade is sharp and tuff.

I detect in very heavy clay soil. You’ll grow a pair of muscle, definitely! This is one of the few products I’ve ever used that is as good as advertised. Cerated edge also great cutting away at roots when digging.

Having the serated edge to cut through tough roots is brilliant. Only notable downside is the size of the head just on the small side for any significant shoveling jobs. Been using this for last few months metal detecting.
