About this deal
Just be warned -- the monsters here are deadlier than what you are used to. After being hired by the thieves guild to seek out and eliminate one of their very own, your adventurers play a dangerous game of cat and mouse that turns into a whodunit, on the streets of Dorantia! When standard dungeons do not pose much of a challenge anymore, your experienced heroes may want to go deeper, looking for greater rewards. Nine unique Final Boss fights. The deck contains: You'll need your wits and a bit of luck to avoid a total party kill. Contains game statistics for classic dungeon monsters like blood-sucking birds and jelly-cubes. The basic selling point of the game is that it's a solitaire game system, so think of it more like a crossword puzzle or sodoku. The goal is to take your party through the dungeon, fighting monsters for experience and loot, and hopefully find and defeat the final boss. I used my Goblin Hero too! This book contains enormous value and PURE FUN if you're a fan of old school style dungeon crawls.

I recommend buying an adventure book in this series for a higher level party too. However, after I'd trudged through the basics, writing out a party sheet by hand from a piece of note paper, and spending a couple of hours deciding who my initial party would be (a Tolkienesque mix of classes and races - Warriors, Wizards, Elves, Dwarfs etc), I finally started my first dungeon.

Lots of fun surprises and side quest add a great deal to the adventure. You roll a d6 and try to roll higher than the monsters level. That can be frustrating.
