On my scales this weighs nearly three quarters of a stone or 5 kilos. Manufacturer says not to stand the inner dish in water, although it's fine to have water inside. We considered a larger slow cooker, but decided it would take up a lot of room in use or during storage.

Had lots of slow cookers before. Cooked chilli for the first time. So easy to use! On high for 4 hoursPhoto of midway cooking time.

The cooker base is not heavy, but the inner ceramic is, and put together, with the lid, you don't want to be lifting it any more than necessary. !

Works perfectly. Excellent value for money! Outside steel container can get very hot during cooking so need to be careful There are plenty of recipes on line, but no booklet is supplied.

Really do recommend 👌 Its absolutely amazing. Very little liquid is lost, so the kitchen does not get steamy.
