Coming from the original galaxy watch this is a huge improvement and it runs on wear os which was developed jointly by Samsung and Google. Secondly, ignore the comments about the battery not lasting a day etc. As a result I've had to dig out my old Bluetooth chest strap and pair it with the watch, which works, but it's an extra piece of kit to remember and use that I was hoping to avoid by paying for an expensive smart-watch.

However, the main reason I bought an expensive smart-watch with all these sensors is to track my workouts, and unfortunately I have to report that the heart-rate tracking is useless. Amazing how much of a difference it makes compared to a standard 22mm. Also, if your bank doesn't support Samsung pay, don't bother downloading Curve in order to use it unless you want to.

I note from the pedometer that I seem to cover more steps when I wear the watch on my right hand, especially in the evening when I seem to be in front of the computer by myself. Bought this to replace my ageing TicWatch Pro. So I've had this galaxy watch 4 for a couple days and surprised how good it is wasn't expecting much but it's fairly accurate and it's not far from actual readings I've had done recently so very good. Battery life is around 2 days which is on par with the previous watches so no real change there.

You can add more apps to the ones that come with it so you don't have to use the default music app or Samsung pay which is nice to see among other things. The number of reviews I've seen where people have moaned that it doesn't work well with iPhone is crazy. If you want accuracy buy specialist equipment.

Firstly, this is without doubt the best Android watch you can buy. Battery dies fairly quickly as well Battery is also good, I charge it for maybe 30 mins while I go to brush / shower before bed and that charge lasts me 24 hours. If you're looking for a watch for iOS this isn't it as it isn't compatible.
