2nd 3d printer i have purchased. It's been working solidly with no print failures for weeks, and the print quality is flawless, as you can see. So I took delivery of this two weeks ago.

It is easy to set up get running I need to make calibration on esteps, x, y, z steps for precise printing dimension - online caluclator (layerfused dot com slash 3d-printer-calibration) is helpful for this. Setup is easy enough, so long as you recognise that the gantry is connected to the base from the box (normally on kit printers they aren't).

So: Only a little bit more expensive than an Ender 3 Pro, with better specs, exceptional print quality and a bigger build volume? X-Y-Z Test cube was just flawless and that was with the spool of filament that came with it. But stick a PTFE tube in there (cut it a little longer than flush - 2-3mm) so it mates to the top (just the top) of the all-metal hotend and this becomes a beast of a printer. There's a whole set of "quality of life" improvements over it's nearest competitor of the Ender 3 Pro, such as:bigger build volumeglass Ultrabase beddual Z motorsfilament sensorDirect Drive Geared extruderSuffice to say, for the money, they're well worth the extra.

For printing gifts, toys, decorations & personal/hobby stuff, this is an excellent choice, 10/10. Reason being that the 1st was not direct drive and would not successfully print TPU filament. seemed like it is just me. I could take off a star for having to make that mod - as it should really be supplied that way by the factory, but I suspect they're already making that change, and the price of <10cm of PTFE tube is not worth complaining about.
