The gripper mode is particularly good and the most visually appealing. It comes as kit that you have to put together. It’s great as it gets kids to spend time doing something different. Amazon's guidance of 18 months to 8 years should be ignored, unless that's how long they think a solo 10 year old will take to make it!

We used a knife to ensure some of plastic was smooth when taken out of their cases so would recommend an adult helping in parts. The hydraulics are well manufactured and the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Great present for a 10 years old. You don't .

This is an excellent kit. There is general advice to remove the plastic burrs from the injection moulded plastic once popped out, but perfection in this is not usually essential, and there are more specific warnings on one or two more critical stages particularly involving gears. Great lockdown time buster.
