TOMMY LABRECQUE

Very happy with purchase. This drill is a powerhouse that makes light work of even tough materials. Simply turn the sleeve anitclockwise to open the chuck jaws and clockwise to tighten it. ca, as the Makita DHP484Z was not available in my city Big Box or local hardware stores.

The spindle spins perfectly in axis, the closure is more than stable despite what I could imagine for its plastic construction, the led light illuminates the working area abundantly, the Discreetly sensitive trigger also to adjust the rotational speed in fast gear. I was able to work for hours without needing to stop and recharge the battery. CONCLUSIONS:It will be appreciated for creative hobbies and professionals for medium-light jobs, useful to remember to register your Makita product purchased here on Amazon on the site mymakita following the instructions to extend the total warranty to three years. Purchased this to do small jobs as the Makita SDS was a bit overpowering for small jobs battery life is excellent has good torque and power and drills into masonry with ease and a lot lighter than the Makita SDS model for general use this drill is brilliant well made and the drill is balanced well using mine with a 4ah battery

Percussion drilling of stone materials or concrete is easy, although the performance of a dowel drill is not expected, for small holes in the wall it is more than valid,Mind you, but for higher, more demanding works such as multiple punctures in load-bearing walls or concrete screeds I rely on DHR242, while for drilling metal with higher drill diameters at 7 mm, I use the HP2071. It is not very light, and it is a value when you use it to drill slightly more tenacious materials, in fact it is common opinion (and in my opinion more than correct) that a heavier tool is also more effective Robust and functional. ! Great product for small and medium jobs, sturdy and easy to handle, fits the XPT/LXT series 18V batteries.

Summarizing:MERITS:Brushless motor delivers power and long life, the torque it generates is high enough for housework, consumes much less battery than screwdrivers with charcoal engine, not dispersing energy into friction. I love it! It is immediately sturdy, in the internal metal mechanics, the grip is exceptionally ergonomic and pleasant due to the comfortable rubber cheeks.

Would definitely recommend. Arrived in just over half a day, thanks to Prime, in a cardboard box containing the DHP484Z screwdriver drill, the English user manual, a cut insert size 2 and Phillips cross size 2 and the belt clip to attach it to the strap of the pants when you have to maybe climb a ladder having to have your hands free; this box is inserted in a larger, sturdy, well insulated box with filler and Amazon logo. I had the pleasure of using the Makita DHP484Z cordless hammer drill for a home renovation project, and I must say I was impressed. The battery life was also a huge plus.
