This Bosch one is a different beast altogether. Really good piece of kit, inhales big piles of leaves from the flower beds shredding them up as it goes. The equipment was easy enough to assemble, seems sturdy, is very powerful and has quite blown away ( pun intended :-) ) my old garden blower/vacuum/shedder in its efficiency in all three tasks. I would have built a trigger switch into the handle so if it started making a horrid noise (or anything else happened) you could stop the motor quickly.

The power is easily adjustable - and it is pretty quiet when turned down low, but most effective when turned up highThe minor challenges are this should be used in two stages - do all the blowing works first, then the vacuuming. The vacuum attachment needs a bit of brute strength to push the parts together to assemble. easy to assemble and operate, a little heavy compare my previous blower but has a strap which is handy. In use it is fairly quiet - at least compared to other leaf vacuums and mostly only when sucking not blowing as the air diffuser acts as a baffle when vacuuming but is removed when used as a blower.

Only issue it is a average quality, definitely 'designed in germany' but made in china. However, it is inevitable that whilst drawing up leaves you will drag the odd harder thing into the unit such as a small stone which, could damage a plastic impeller blade.

In use it works very well indeed. Before and after pics. I was cautious about buying one as a previous one (different make) was not very good, to the extent I gave up on it!
