But I'll update the review if it does. While I like the G700, I almost always use it as a "wired" mouse because the battery life is just too short to last through a long gaming session. Compared to my G700, and really any mouse wired or wireless that I've ever used this mouse is super smooth. It is suited for a "palm grip" as opposed to a "claw grip".

From what I read, those who don't customize profiles in the logitech software don't have the issue. In fact, it's proving to be a benefit recently.

Once you program one game in the interface, you can drag and drop your programmed macros and key commands to any of their gaming products. But I'm putting up with that discomfort and trying to retrain for the functionality that this mouse provides at this price point. Photography is my career, it’s how I make my living. G602 is powered by two standard AA batteries; optionally remove one battery to adjust its weight and balance, but the battery life will be reduced. The other is that using that same thumb I can lift up on the mouse to reposition it, which is almost impossible with any mouse that’s shaped like a beetle – I have one mouse that falls out of my hand whenever I try to lift it. It’s available in several large sizes, a benefit for graphics work.

While G602 has replaceable battery and it has amazing long battery life, G602 has more buttons to customize, you can change the DPI while you are working on the fly through the dedicated buttons. In my case with a ride so smooth, I opted for the slightly heavier feel and longer operation life afforded by both batteries.

The cheap wired mouse that came with my computer has less lag than any wireless mouse I’ve owned. I end up buying the G602 and I like it very much.
