Just bad that Amazon warehouse didn't check for missing parts. I could have returned it to Amazon, but decided to try Pyle support.

Totally buy from this company. The supporting structures seem well made and sturdy and best of all, it has a generous 16"x19.

The base is much sturdier than the top plate which is a good thing. If you lean on the plate too much you can feel it bending so you back off before you have any risk of tipping the thing over. Plate can be locked at any angle and have never slipped on me from the position I set.

Holds this 17" laptop just fine. I got the stand to use as a portable desk for my laptop.
