If you want to connect with Bluetooth you need to download app first. It has a hidden button at the bottom which is great, I set mine as the middle click and I love it.

Aside from this functionality the MX Master most certainly feels more premium and has a lot of other functionality. Unlike my older Logitech Performance MX mouse with a replaceable battery, the Thriatlon battery cannot be charged nor used by connecting it to the computer through cable and the plastic cover for the AA battery also includes low friction pads, and thus IF you somehow manage to wear down the plastic battery cover to the point it became lose, for example by multiple falls potentially breaking the plastic cover which was not necessary to insert on older Logitech Performance MX wireless mouse model, you may have trouble to glide mouse smoothly on any kind of surface. The fact that you can change the device you are using with one of the side buttons on the M720 is incredible, it’s the sole reason I keep this mouse around.

I use it to control an iMac, a Macbookpro and a PC laptop running Windows 7. I have worked in IT and Design for over 30 years and this is the best mouse I have ever used. This M720 has been very robust mouse which I have thrown into draws and bags without a case and its working great still.

Replacing the battery for the first time after about a year of everyday use, this mouse is truly worthy of its name. Here you can also program all of the 8 buttons to do what you want, and also you can set application specific actions for when you're using an application. It has a hibernation option which saves the battery and comes alive as son as you move it with no delay.

Other than it is it is a great mouse I use for Mac OS and dex. Easy to connect and switch between multiple devices. With all the devices we own having the ability to switch quickly and not break your ‘flow’ is much appreciated. It comes with only 1 receiver, so you need to buy 2 more little receivers if you're not using bluetooth (get them from Amazon or eBay and make sure they are UNIFYING receivers with the small red 5 star asterisk looking logo on them.
