I used to get bruises all the time from doing them, but because this pad is thick (feels more like a memory foam) I can do thrusts with breeze and no bruises(! It’s changed my squatting, because there is now no pressure on my shoulders from the bar I feel more secure and stronger. The material is very smooth and thick which is perfect and I can’t wait to test it out in my next gym session!

Overall I would recommend this for anyone who wants to perform hip thrusts with added comfort. I ordered this to use when performing hip thrusts at the gym due to my gym not offering a barbell pad.
