I was completely captured. ) but wholly, beautifully written. Is it just the challenge of cracking it ourselves or do we rather hope that it will never be solved? This delicious debut by Kate Weinberg is astonishingly good.

). It doesn't sit easily in one specific genre - and it is all the better for it. It is not unique for a story to have university life as its background, but generally the chosen campus would be Oxbridge or one of the more established red brick universities, rather than the un-picturesque, grey ziggurats of the University of East Anglia. Because in solving something, in pinning it down, in reducing it to one reality, something of the magic is lost.
