DON'T RUSH RUST! The extra thick collars of the spanner give you the confidence to apply considerable force without is slipping off.

Plenty of WD40 everyday for a week then I started to remove them. The 11mm end of spanner fitted over the front hoses perfectly and removed them with some effort, but no rounding off.

After 18 years and 132k miles all of my brake hoses needed replacing and all of them were rusted to the car! This tool is superb and a must have for anyone attempting brake line removal. The quality is great and engineered brilliantly.

It worked! Worked brilliantly. Someone in the past had attempted to remove the rear hoses and made a spectacular job of rounding the compression nut on the hard line. However, the rear was a different story, requiring the use of the 10mm end to be "gently persuaded" over what used to be the 11mm compression fitting nut.

. Keep the spanner flat and as much of the contact faces around the nut to be removed. Gently apply the pressure and hope it did not round-off further.
