This was a very pretty simple installation. I’ve read reviews from people who were disappointed and all I can say is it is working for me in less than ideal placement. Update: After close to a month, the doorbell has maintained appx 100% battery. In the RING app there are many settings one can adjust to slow down battery drain if that's an issue for you.

In the end, I am glad I bought the solar panel. Easy set up love it so far seems make wifi bit better to Holds charge to battery all day .

Attach the solar panel’s wiring harness to the RING device, and screw the RING device to the solar panel. Works perfect and the easiest install for my ring doorbell 3 .
