You'll struggle with a normal phone charger. Wireless chargingAuto Trueplay sound adaption to environment. Not cheap though. The other option is to avoid manually powering speaker off/on is when battery saver is on and it turns itself off, is to connect to a charger which automatically powers unit back on again.

Overall a nice bit of kit, good sound quality for the size and great to be able to move it around the house or into the garden (using Bluetooth if out of WiFi range). I was looking to add to my Sonos and this was perfect as a speaker for the bathroom + the added bonus of using it any where simple to use great sound and battery life I've read that people have struggled with setup but for me it was fairly straightforward and I was up and running and linked to my other sonos (Beam and 2 x Play Ones).

Bluetooth works fine, although instructions could be clearer. This very narrow long shaped button (multi function) is difficult to operate easily.

Easy to set up onto WIFI with SONOS app. I did have to buy a fast charging socket in addition which adds further cost but I got one relatively cheap on amazon. Just a suggestion, but they could have used a round button instead (recessed) giving easy access providing a more intuitive feel.

I'm not sure about leaving it constantly plugged in and charging as Sonos have said is safe to do (in sleep mode). Versatile standing options (upright/landscape). Turning on/off effectively is almost a lottery as it’s dependant on if you’ve held the button in too long or not long enough to (power up/power down). However, there is for me one glaring annoying feature; the power button.

It's great being able to move it around and particularly take it into the bathroom or garden. Why? Sound wise it is very good for the size but you can't expect to it to be as good as the Play one for example. This speaker is so enticing, offering almost everything you would ever need from a portable speaker;LightweightGood soundImpressive array of connection options (Bluetooth/WiFi/voice control)Unique styling and shape (triangular).
However every time the Sonos app is opened speaker wakes draining the battery. Sound is superb for such a small speaker, miles better than my UE Boom. However, as I say sound is fantastic. Docker worth buying but makes it a total over £200, which is top end for little Bluetooth speaker.
