About this deal

Description

It works best on a plastic fermenter but can be used with care on a carboy or demijohn. Simply tighten the belt around your fermentation vessel and alter the temperature by adjusting its position. 5 gallon glass carboys, the manufacturer does not recommend using it with glass fermenters, although we use it all the time on glass carboys without problems. The Brew Belt is the perfect solution for those who need a little extra heat to keep your fermentation at a warm enough temperature. The Brew Belt heater can be used to heat your homebrew to the correct temperature when room temperature it too cold. Use in conjunction with a thermometer.

The answer is to go past these scaling marks as they are just to show which way to turn the dial. works great and can be tweaked down to only 20-25C. Used to heat my resin vat.
