The clamps are not equally the same in length one side is shorter than the other side for what reason I don't know, but it still worked. I kept the curlers in my hair for about 35 to 40 minutes until they cooled. I will give it one more try but if these don’t work I’m just going to get rid of them because it’s a lot of effort to do themUPDATE: I tried again it still did not heat up properly so I just got rid of them :(

I probably will buy something different in the future for the clips. I will say though, these rollers do get pretty hot if you let them sit in there too long before use. Our go to product !

They heat up so quick, like less than five minutes and the clips they come with are easy to clip in (they do leave a little demarcation line, so be careful where you place the clip. Once I took the curls out, I flipped my hair over and ran my fingers through my hair, sprayed it again and I was set to go.

I suspect that the rollers had not heated up enough which is why they did not give me the curl I expected, which I waited 25 minutes for the rollers to heat up even though I had heard it was only 20 minutes, so I’m not quite sure why they weren’t that hot. Honestly I tried these once for the first time in my life, as I have never done rollers, on my extensions, and as you can see by the picture I feel like I installed them pretty decently, however when they came out my hair was kind of strange and just very lackluster given the effort it took to put them in. While the curls were in my hair I sprayed my hair lightly with hair spray. These curls also do hold long too, I never use hairspray or hair products really and my curls hold.

These velvet rollers don't get stuck in my hair like those velcro rollers and they get hot enough to add volume to my hair without frying it. I washed my hair a few days ago and I put styling gel in it.
