Paul Doodson
I loved reading the transformation throughout the book and her blossoming friendship with her colleague is just wonderful as they become closer due to a bit of hilarious detective work. Daisy and Nate. He writes in such an engaging way that you see a little of yourself in the characters.

Nate works days. Rosie her sister, drinking far more than she should and a cast of characters that fill another five star book from David M Barnett.
Nate, works the day shift, happy go lucky, son of the famous fighter Terry Garvey, running away from his past and the violence he and his Mum suffered from his Dad. A great, easy and brilliantly written book.
