I think it gives you a more rounded idea of the midwife as a person to see a clearer picture. Well written easy to immerse yourself into and hopefully there will be a second book some day? I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Information about the midwifes life and how this career choice can effect it is also included.
There are stories of actual birthing situations and the training, as well as situations that come up I hadn’t even considered.
