Battery life is as good as the specs say, with a full 10 hours of mixed use consistently achieved. Conclusion: it's a great value tablet. I have been a long term fan of all thing Apple, but when an impending stay in hospital started to loom, I was looking for a solution to the problem of no-removable-storage which exists on the iPad range, and doesn't look like changing any time soon. That is also more than adequate, with the vibrant PLS-LCD capacitive touchscreen showing the snaps at their best.

The 8MP snapper does a capable job, even in low light conditions, aided by the standard Samsung LED flash. In terms of battery life, I'm getting about 14 hours of life out of it, which is much better than I expected! It would be better with more than 2GB of RAM but it's not the end of the world and a tweak on the developer settings has made the whole thing move a bit slicker.
