In practice, although it feels creamy & soft on the back of the hand, when outlining the lips I find the liner a bit hard in texture and therefore it drags a little. However, once in situ it does last well and, as it is close to the shade of one of my favourite lipsticks, it doesn’t look like there is a vastly different coloured outline, an effect I am not keen on. It also stayed on all day, along with the lipstick.

Saw this and thought I'd give it a go. The barrel simply twists to move the stick up; the opposite to retract. Once in place the lip liner is pretty good at staying put, it only smudged after a firm rub and stayed put even after eating.

Similar in shade to both the cap & the opposite end, the slim lip liner stick is around 3 cm when fully extended (last image refers), so should last a fair while. I always retract my 'point' after each use. I love a red lipstick but at my age those darned bleed lines are just dreadful.
