Also, while with box dye (Schwarzkopf Live) I needed 2 boxes, with this one tube was just enough! I'll mention here that this product isn't recommended for use directly on the scalp, but I know how I react to these colours and was happy to take the risk. My hair was a dyed gingery brown colour (see before photo) with fairly heavy roots due to lockdown laziness but I fancied a change and if you can't be a bit daring now when can you be! The colour does fade but only really where my hair is damaged I just top it up with directions when I condion my hair.

I was nervous but took the plunge, mixing with 30vol developer. Mixed magenta and red with a 30% developer and got this result. Great for roots

This stuff is fantastic, my hair is naturally dark brown, so I use this majicontrast red with 40vol/12% peroxide and it comes out a lovely bright red. I started with dark brown hair, and it worked really well when mixed with 6% solution. !
