Grief is a nasty viscous creature but somehow the author, through her amazing character Kate, helped us open our eyes through the pain and helped us to see the Bright Side. I saw this book on Tiktok and decided that I had to read it. But the stars that burn the brightest are often the stars that burn the shortest. Loved them all!

If you like characters who are different, relationships that don't always make sense, characters with realistic strengths and flaws, and if you can appreciate that some happily-ever-afters aren't blatantly obvious, then this is the next book you should read. She is strong and positive and her nickname is fitting. EPIC love story. This is an emotional story from the get go.

I also wish there was a little more insight into the resolutions of the other characters as the book came to it's finale. This one takes the cake for book that has made me cry the most ugliest of cries.
