The songs on side one are hard electronic pop once heard never forgotten, while side two is instrumental music that is at once dramatic and ambient. The cover shot is from Bowie's acting debut, The Man Who Fell To Earth. Described at the time as 'new music' Low is a record that pushed the boundaries of both Bowie's work and modern music.
