It fits perfectly in the passenger side footwell and doesn't slide around at all. I bought this box to carry takeaways home when I was driving on my own as I was sick of curry sauce ending up in the bottom of the plastic bag, so as you will see from the pictures, it's perfect for 2 curries, 2 rice and there is even space for starters as well (onion bhajis/samoas/poppadoms). 5 stars for the box. So I've returned them and hope that when reordering this has been fixed.

I use these for storing 15mm wargames terrain, just the right size to hold plenty of stuff without being too heavy or unwieldy. The lid fits tightly and keeps the food nice and warm and if there are any leaks (which I haven't had yet) it is fully sealed and would clean up easily with a quick wipe and no damage to your vehicle or lingering smells. I would definitely recommend as it cuts down on plastic bags waste as well and our local take away said they are going to buy some to offer to the customers as an eco friendly option for them to keep and reuse with a refundable deposit if they don't like them, but I'm confident they will! I have a lot of these 11l boxes and need a few more, shop local to me has changed brands do was happy to find these on AmazonHowever, the 2 I ordered arrived, individually boxed and labelled 11l but both boxes contained 7l boxes, which don't stack with the 11l.
