Please see attached photos for useful dimensions and also note if you need a watering can to go with it the “Garden watering can green wash watering cans 14L” have got a perfect size nozzle and being high capacity work well with this to give the water a bit of pressure behind it and stop continual trips to from tap! (See photos for example 12-inch and 20-inch sprays.

I used mine as an attachment for my watering can (10L) to spray weed killer on my lawn. Simple to put together, no leaks, spray is a bit haphazard, but watering is hardly rocket science so this is perfectly adequate.

I read a lot of negative reviews so wanted to add my positive review. ) Unused extensions neatly store on the base unit, so you can easily adjust the width “on the fly” (see photo).
Watering cans are an essential for every gardener, and they all come with a round head and round spray pattern. And you can adjust the width of the spray from 4 inches (using the base only) to 12 inches (using one extension on each side) or to 20 inches (using both extensions on each side).

How is it that I had to source this brilliant but simple tool from England? But guess what? Well made and sturdy sprinkler bar, it’s a little uneven with the output but then I think no other device would manage much better when only connected to a can! It’s such an ingenious but simple little device.
I have kept it and used it for iron sulphating the grass in spring (and probably autumn) when grass stays damp to remove moss and harden grass up and it was fine for this. No more swirling the watering can around to try to get the round spray pattern to hit the square edges of your garden or plants. This is a great little product, does exactly what it is intended to do. Especially helpful when watering flats of seedlings – one quick pass and every cell will get a good, gentle drink.
