I did actually take some other lenses with me but they stayed in the hotel room unused. I am so impressed and really pleased with my purchase. First use was a snowy winter holiday so it was great to have a range that covered action in the snow park as well as landscape, and I didn't have to change lenses in a hostile environment. Attached is a panning shot taken at 1/60s with a 4 stop filter and a handheld shot at 1/6s.

How good is that. It is a little bulky and heavy compared to many micro 4/3 lenses, but the versatility more than makes up for it. I use all the Olympus Pros and Primes and was really looking forward to trying this lens, I am putting together a travel kit that includes the Tiny Oly 9-18 f/4 - 5. Thanks guys.

Just got my 12-100 today from Great Western Cameras, Released 18th Nov, ordered same night on Amazon, arrived 22nd Nov. I already have Olympus lenses that cover this range, but I purchased this one so that I could travel with just one lens fixed to my EM1ii. 6; Oly 12-100 f/4 and the Pany 20 f1. The image stabilisation seems amazing.

After just a few hours with the 12-100 on the front of an em5 ii I think it's an absolute jaw dropper, Sharp across the frame even wide open, and probably most important of all, truly beautiful rendering, it simply produces amazing pictures. I didn't test it extensively, but it managed to focus fine on cars on an ice track with no problem, at both fast and slow shutter speeds.

I expected the focusing to be a little sluggish compared to the 12-40 Pro lens, but I didn't notice it. It was very liberating!
