Miss Willa Colyns Diary
The storyline continues from the most recent book in the series, The War of Two Queens, but Poppy quickly falls into a deep and vulnerable stasis. After reding the present scenes and what happens at the end, I cannot wait for the next book! absolutely amazing!

Ever since reading From Blood and Ash I wanted to read scenes from Hawke/Casteel’s point of view, and now that we have it, I could not be happier! I loved every page, every chapter, every new extra scene, I loved everything. Going deeper into Casteel’s thoughts was something else. I was shocked when Britta showed up because I swear that's her first appearance actually in a scene, but I was glad to finally meet her.

This book crushed my heart and gave me hope at the same time. I only experienced this once, when I read A Court of Mist and Fury, and again, just like with ACOMAF, ASOAAB came just at the right time, when I needed it the most. This story is a retell, that is not quite a retell, of From Blood and Ash from the male main character’s point of view, Prince Casteel Hawkthrone Da’Neer. "sack of meat" :)))I NEED ALL THE BOOKS IN CAS'S POV!
