Love it, so easy to use, I had no clue going into this, but so easy to pick up. The final test part is amazing, so smooth and the transparent look is what I want for the plants I want to model and then make into display pieces. 2/Online HELP is difficult to find for you exact problem, just start off with the recommended Resin Settings and print a small item and see, I ditched the calibration for now and I'm printing as in the photos without, I will calibrate when I'm more confident. I have had the Anycubic Photon Mono for a couple of days now, very easy to setup was printing the test blocks within 30 minutes.

80 the latest photon software has some nice features that let you check your print to see if you need more supports. The machine is very simple to setup and level the bed, the Quick Start/Setup guide is perfect and makes it so simple that I was left thinking 'Is that it?

The software is far better than the ones available when I purchased my Micromake and once you select your printer type in the slicer the settings are pretty much spot on. The pics I took show the opening to getting it working, no idea what order they will show in, but there was also a box of tools, scrapers, lots of gloves, a mask, that was useful, and a pic of the display that is so simple to use.

Print time to wash time - You don't need to rush and remove the print bed to wash immediately, you can leave it overnight if you want, just as long as you leave the cover on. ', the main learning curve is the included slicing software, it is pretty basic and limited but that is a good thing for novices, in theory all you need to do the following:Import . The item was dispatched and recieved soon after purchase.

I had zero issues from start to finish. No need to empty the vat each time, so far I have just kept topping it up and used 800ml with no failed prints, but if you do have a failed print then you will need to clean out the vat. I set it up following instruction from YouTube I had watched the night before. Learn from my mistakes:1/ I setup and went straight into printing the included test and calibration file, on completion you could see which one was the best and it looked awesome, BUT I couldn't get them off the plate, brute force with the metal scraper eventually shattered the brittle prints off into small pieces - LESSON = Don't use the included test files as they are for a different resin.

Supports - These horrible things are essential, but the default 'MEDIUM' is often overkill and harder to remove, on smaller models like in the photos I changed to 'LIGHT' which improved my prints no-end, easier to remove and less scarring. Credit to the folks at Anycubic for making such a a simple to build machine. I have printed different size models and the print detail is excellent I have used Anycubic's And Elegoo's resin and they both print fine. It took me longer to unpack it than it did to setup and I've had great looking prints come off consistently with only a minor blip here or there on the occasional model mostly due my own mistake in settings or support placement.

Final ThoughtsI just LOVE this machine already and I love the water washable resin too, despite my reluctance to switch to resin I am now a convert, time to flog my CR10! Saving up for the Mono X for the larger build space as we do a lot of studio scale models and it's great being able to have the Chiron printing large body pieces with the Photon doing the fine interior pieces. I though if I took pictures I would remember how to set this up once I had packed it all away, and to give me a chance to follow the instruction book. Then fitted the disk and used the cure button and the part was done.
