About This World Wall Map
This map is permanently bonded between two sheets of tough, flexible, crystal-clear plastic. A stunning huge World map showing physical geography of the earth in full colour. Our best seller! Also features time zone clocks, international airports, primary seaports, main railways as well as international, national and state boundaries. All countries are well defined with political colouring and main cities are clearly marked. At the base of the map is a panel displaying the official flag for each country detailing some basic socio-economic information including population and currency.

It isn't laminated how I would class laminated, however it is perfectly fine as I will still be able to gently wipe down any sticky fingers when needed due to the paper finish. Hi all! It has gone straight up onto little ones bedroom wall and we are going to have so much fun searching for the countries using the little flag and number references at the bottom of the map. this is for you.

The map is colouful with an excellent level of detail fo a world map. would recommend. The International Date Line changes putting Samoa and Tokelau ahead of GMT/UTCSo, overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and I give it a rating of 4 stars.

One of the issues that I mentioned in the 2010 Edition review, was the fact that a combination of the map colour scheme and terrain made some place names hard to read, especially where those place names were located in moutainous regions on the map. We cut off the flags at the bottom of the map. Crimea is shown as being 'Administered by Russia'. 4m x 10mm x 5mm wood batons, stuck them to the top and bottom of the back, fixed a piece of string to the top and hung it on a single nail.

This is still the case for the 2017 Edition of the map, but in the grand scheme of things, it's only a minor issue. Very reasonable pricing, good size, pretty much covers my whole wall and is detailed!

thanks I purchased this map to replace my 2010 Edition Collins World Map (which I've reviewed and rated previously). This worked out well because it stopped it from moving around and gave the pins stability too.
