I think this would be an excellent read for any child going through a tough time (especially divorce) or has a friend who is going through a tough time. This book is a fun and easy read. ***Spoilers: The book concludes with him figuring out how exist in his world again and apologizing to everyone. The main character gets to see what life would be like if he never existed and he does not like what he sees.
It has a perfect amount of magic, not over the top, but very necessary and mysterious. “I wish I’d never been born” (page 70). It is about a boy who gets into trouble and one day, after really messing things up for his entire school, wishes he never existed. Everything is different: school, family, and most importantly his dog!
