I’ve been using this w my laptop to power an ultra wide 34” monitor at 3440x1440. 2 Charging Support for Android, Apple iOS, and Windows Mobile Devices This thing has exceeded expectations. Works great for word processing and browsing applications.

I’ve had zero problems with it and it’s plenty fast. Update Jul 2016I went ahead and purchased a second one and am have been happily running for a couple months now. I can use the Surface's monitor as well, but typically choose not to since any bump to the desk causes the Surface monitor to cut out temporarily and screens to start flickering. I use 4 of these to drive my 4 monitors off my laptop.
