You do need to cut the poles to length at both ends unless you have a very large window but once cut it's fairly easy to bend into place by eye. The only two downsides are that you need to unscrew and remove the curtain rail if you want to wash the curtains, because the supports go all the way around the pole. This is so customizable and flexible that we didn’t need to.

great value for money and very sturdy. We were at a loss of what to do with our bay window with tiny side windows, and considering getting a custom curtain pole to fit the area. However, this is a very easy solution to fit curtain rails in an otherwise tricky location. However, now it is up I am happy with the purchase.
