It doesn’t have the noticeably earthy smell of some substrates and hopefully won’t break down and mould at the first sign of moisture like the grass pellet based stuff. Use a combination of this hemp and beech chips for our Horsefield. Dry and comfortable for desert tortoises to dig in.

We have tried a variety of substrates and so far this seems the best. 25litres of hemp bedding is huge xD brilliant, shall last for ages. P's good delivery service. My little baby tortoise loves this and it's very good value for money and in a good bag with a strong handle, my first time using this but I'm going to be using it for good in the future, I highly recommend this product.
