5 before we made the switch to a full bed, and he’s used to sleeping in his toddler bed without rails, but since he is a lot higher off the ground, I wanted something to give me peace of mind, and this does the trick. It takes time and patience to arm them, however those who are not used to reading and following instructions will certainly have greater difficulties. Some notes when putting it together:I really thought I got the incorrect pieces when the bottom of the bed rails weren’t exactly the same, but that was a non-issue!

I haven't had problems with insurance as they mentioned in other comments. As for the IKEA bed it fits very nicely in between the “lip” on the side of the bed and her mattress. Make sure to read the instructions, there were some things that I didn’t understand and then I got to the correlating assembly section and it made sense.

Excellent product, I arrive on time. The only problem, although easy to solve, is that the clamping system for joining the two parts under the bed, has a very high risk of opening because the weight of the mattress presses on the pistil and releases the system.

I have not found any trouble bringing down the side to change the sheets. As an aside, I have slept in his bed when he has had nightmares, and these are pretty sturdy. Easy to put together.

Worked like a charm. I have a very high mattress and the bars protrude about 15 cm approximately, enough for my child not to fall.
