You can judge the result from the photo. Best to recoat within 24hrs, ideally more like 12hrs so you get a good chemical bond between layers. Two bags of self-levelling compound & two bags of sharp sand were mixed into the recommended amount of water with PVA adhesive mixed into it. Wooden battens were screwed to the floor in front of shelving units to avoid the need to continue new floor under them.

This is approx 75m square and took 15l with first coat thinned 10% and a heavy second coat Caution- This method raises the floor level & doors etc. Did a lot of research and went for this epoxy paint seems to be good so far, I didn’t thin the paint and just slapped it on with a roller and still have quart of the tin left on a large 20x10ft single garage, It looks to be cheaper to buy from the main site Method- The broken up areas of concrete were removed & replaced with fresh concrete.

Once all the panels were down & any gaps filled, the whole floor was given one further coat of this paint. After thorough mixing this was spread over an 8’ x 4’ section of the floor and one of the pre-painted ply panels put on it & pressed down well into it. Paint is still waiting to fully cure, but looks fantastic with very good coverage. 5L per coat of 50sqm but I was applying it very liberally to use up a tin per coat on my 40sqm garage.
