No real assembly required as it is already put together as a single unit. Good quality bed guard, matches perfectly with my white wooden bed frame. Only thing I would suggest is tying the base of the rail (the bit that goes under the mattress) to the bed’s structure with string (or similar) to prevent children from pulling it out.

It came hinged and ready-assembled and is easy to slot under the mattress. I bought the standard size and have a deep mattress. I highly recommend this product for anyone who is looking for a rail / bumper for a cot bed. It’s definitely worth paying that little bit extra.

It does lift the mattress a bit but I tested it out myself and you can’t feel the wood underneath a sprung mattress at all! With ease holds my 5 year olds weight, it is quite sturdy. Looks sturdy enough I added a couple of extra screws to be on the safe side.

They are perfect. Really nice bed rail. The real good thing however is - my daughter stopped falling out of bed while sleeping - which is the only real thing that maters. It took me 5 mins to install on IKEA bed.

I bought 2 of these, a standard height and a tall one for the high Kallax bed I’ve built for my granddaughters. As you can see in the picture doesn't look like much space is left and the mattress is 19cm as recommended but it does squash down and minus the quilt so when you lie down it will add extra depth (I did personally test it so seems okay but time will tell)Personally could of done with a few extra cm as the next size up is the large which is 60cm which would of looked a bit sillyPretty decent it was hinged so saved messing about

I am very pleased with it. Very sturdy and safe, the best looking bed rail I could find on the market, actually makes bed look nicer. Looks great with my mamas and papas ivory toddler bed. This is a bit too low for the purpose I want to use it for my seven-month-old keeps climbing or trying to climb over it
