The edition I received has the first two books cover to cover which was a cool feature. She is all about artwork and fantasy so this is the perfect combination.

The book is visually incredibly appealing with its own map of Nocturnia, an introduction to the characters and gorgeous illustrations. Amelia Fang is just adorable – quirky, kind-hearted and the best friend ever! He has a superiority complex and is a spoilt brat, used to getting his own way, and being waited on hand and foot by his Mummy Maids. Such a cute book!

When I got it I was pleasently surprised it was two books in one. My daughter loved the illustrations especially the ones of Squashy, she desperately wants her own pet pumpkin now (a dog and a hamster clearly aren't enough pets for one girl).
