Having said this, it's invaluable to see for yourself what's actually in your ear. I managed to pull out a load of dried blood that was lodged in there.

It should be noted that when the battery gets low the picture quality worsens alot, when mine got low the coulers started to go funny and I got black lines throughout the picture. The device has a 130MHA batter which according to the brochure lasts for about 30minutes. The product was better than expected, especially the high-quality camera and great light shinning into your ear.

However, if you are confident and have a steady hand, this device is worth every penny. I figured considering the price, it was worth a shot and I am so glad I purchased this handy little tool! It also has a mode that warns you if you are touching your ear drum which is a nice touch however I think this is mostly based on pressure on the tip than anything else as it was alerting me when I was removing the was from the tool with my tissue paper so still handle with care.

This device was a life saver! In favour of the product, I wear hearing aids and was sure that my hearing was progressively getting worse and that every time I inserted my hearing aid into my ear, it was actually pushing any wax back down deeper into the ear!

I personally was excited to buy this product as for many years I have tried unsuccessfully to get my ears cleaned - and this is quite common I hear from friends - medical staff are very reluctant to clean your ears and I guess because of the sensitivity of the ear and associated risks? End
