Just looking and handling the straightner, it feels like a quality product. I used the 230 degree setting since my hair is quite thick and greasy after just a day.

Includes a heat resistant mat which comes in handy. I have some pictures of me to help you understand what to expect before you buy (isn't that the point of every review) so I had used it once already and I was completely amazed that my hair was straight for a good 4 days, you will see this in the picture where my hair looks like it has dandruff however that is just from continual hairspray use. That's was gift for my wife.

This curls and straightens my hair nicely. The great thing about this hair straightner is to stop hair bulging out on the 230 setting you can see I get perfect curvy lines through my hair and no kinks (as opposed to not using a straightner)Unlike other straightners, the secret I believe, is in the temperature, my hair does not not "respond" to lower temperatures but with the adjustable heat, it allows you to find a setting that works for you.
