Comes in 2 different pieces, blue/green memory foam part which bounces up in less than 1/2 hr and padded fitted top part. I have joint pain all over, really bad restless sleep and I can't recommend this enough. It took over a week for it to dissipate enough for me to put it on the bed.

The smell is gone completely. Over the years, the central support bar created a couple of uncomfortable sags on both side of the bed, and also was felt through the mattress. I'll use this topper on that, as well, as it is really comfy.

The Simmons in my rented house is too old and I needed this mattress to provide support. Lie it on bed and let it go to work. Would highly recommend.

Then your usual sheet. It has stopped smelling bad. As recommended I left the topper for 24hrs before putting on the bed but to be honest the foam smoothed out extremely quickly. The separate deeply-quilted mattress cover adds hugely to the softness, and will be washable separately.
