I however ran into an issue where the brackets that extend from the cover to slip underneath the clamp on the filter didn't line up (the photo on the cover listing shows the bracket piece sitting underneath) so I placed that bracket piece on top and the got the screws in. The carbon fiber hood I installed on my car has hood louvers which exposed part of my air filter and was worried about water falling in but this filter cover worked out great, it is very adjustable as well.

The product came packaged well - bubble wrapped and secure in the box. But if you are in need of a cover - i would recommend it. We'll see how it holds up to everyday use.
