and grief and the consequences it leads it’s explores the addiction of drugs and the consequences of it and how you have to face the struggles that comes along with it. The cover is bright and interesting, it would make me want to pick it up in a book store, and it’s the type of novel that I’ll want to read again in the future.

She needs to clear her mind, accept the past in order to move forward. It's a great debut. This book is emotional and I felt empathetic towards Mary and her struggles she went through life. Who they are today is shaped by the past.

TJ needs his mum, he also needs to help her to help him. This book is so fraught with emotion.
It's a heavy book in parts and moves between present day and the past. I would definitely recommend.
