It does leave a light scent on your hands so I'd wash them after use, especially if you're going to eat. I reckon that it could be used to clean the dust beneath the strings at the body end by stretching the gel so that it forms a thin . It's darkened a little but is still going strong so I reckon I'll get quite a while out of it yet.

It did collect dirt from within my centre console though and I will continue to use this in that area. This will just dissolve I think as they say not to get it wet [maybe its made of Gremlins! Eventually it'll get pretty full of dirt. thing.

its usually a PITA to keep looking neat. (pictured) All you can see is only from area’s that I can not get a vacuum into clean properly. It gets into all those really annoying places to clean out like the centre console of the car, the air vents, between buttons & what I've been mainly using it for, my computer keyboards. I will say those this proves how good it works just after one use.

Using the gel was absolutely easy. So, for guitars, I cannot recommend this gel but for dusting window blinds it could be useful - just a bit awkward to handle, that's all.

The one I got to review is magnolia scented. It is easy to use however on shiny surfaces of my car I found that it left a residue and in fact made dust stick to these areas more.

But for quick cleaning jobs & capturing dust its great stuff. Oh, pain. Also, having held the gel for a few minutes, it left a wet residue on my hand - not much but I consider this disadvantageous. One other thing I did notice was while using it in car vents there were small bits of putty still left in the vent.
