But i recommend new sky observers to learn observing the celestial bodies first with a binocular. Before buying this product we should learn how to use it . I used this Telescope on the 31/01/18 to watch the Moon Eclipse. It gives a crystal clear picture of whether a celestial body or a far away unspottable thing.

I have also seen planet venus through it. Its worth paying. Celestron has a plastic body at such great prices whereas it has a full aluminium body. Ful extension gives it a height of 6ft.
