Mounting a cable suspension system for a bay window meant drilling screw holes and starting 4ea. The side mount handle is great, as I can move it from one side to the other, depending on how I am using it. Voila! With a bit of lubrication, this item will last a long, long time.

Worked great, needed it for a automotive job. Using my 20-year-old Makita cordless drill I was able to snake the bit of the flexshaft snug against the plate and high under the overhang to securely drill and mount a marine-grade pad-eye that would take most of the load. This turned out to be just exactly right for the job, once I figured out how it works.

I used it in conjunction with a straight 12" extension and a spade bit and was blown away by how well the power transferred to the spade bit and had no problem going right through the lumber. I've used this quite a bit to screw in screws in tight spaces, but recently used it to bore a hole through a 2x4. Very little crevice between the engine head and wheel well housing. I was able to easily hold my drill motor above the crevice and pointed straight down into the hole.

Works like a charm. After I received it, the chuck was very stiff, and I ended up pulling it apart several times trying to figure out how to get my hex shank drill bits to go in and out again.
