One 25 g sealed tube received safely and in reserve, just in case! I have found this the most effective over the years and am happy that as it is a colourless liquid, there is no powder scattered around. !

Just a little blob is enough, I find. As soon as I see ants on the block paving I'll put some in this down (using a refillable Nippon bait box usually).

. With the recent hot dry weather, every house in our street has ant nests on their driveway . No doubt this will help control the ants we have, thus controlling the aphids :)
and let's face it, you have to act quickly with ants or all their mates are there in the blink of an eye! Have loads of ants which have recently started farming aphids on some of our plants, not ideal as they also scare away the aphids natural predators.
It would seem that the ants prefer this to aphids though, they can't get enough - came out in swarms to eat it! Ants go mad for this stuff! except for us!
