Easy to clean and absorbs snake urine and clumps feces well. The item is great and we’ve ordered it before. I just spot clean by scooping out any bedding that gets wet or pooped on and replacing it with fresh.

Usually buy a bag every year since this is alot. So far no complaints. The main reason I use this bedding with our snakes (sand boas and corn snakes) is because it is safe and non-toxic for them, even if they eat some it won’t cause any impactions or anything. We just thought it was a bit weird this time that it came with loads of empty aquatic plant packaging?

Also, gets wood chips everywhere during cleaning: likely my fault more than the product. I only need to completely change the bedding twice a year as long as I spot clean right away after they poop. The tunnels don’t collapse. No odors linger.
