Attention, in AF-A (automatic) and AF-C (continuous autofocus) autofocus mode, the lens “pumps” into the vacuum. With the focus retouching set on the AF/MF selector, the MF mode is powerful enough to allow for good responsiveness (by choosing a focus mode adapted to the scene, of course). In 4K, image quality, sharpness and contrast join the manual version of the 12mm Samyang which is already very qualitative, for a cheap price.

Be careful if you are filming with a microphone mounted on the body, the autofocus is audible, or even very noisy. The media could not be loaded.

The lens is wonderful for wide angle- nature and all outdoor photos. The pattern drawn by the wind on the ears of wheat will force the lens to refocus very regularly, with the effect of spoiling the entire video.
